What type of services do you offer as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner?
Medication management, teaching, and diagnosis are some of the key areas of expertise for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Medication management is a crucial aspect of psychiatric care, as it involves ensuring that patients are taking the right medications at the appropriate doses, monitoring their response to treatment, and addressing any potential side effects or complications that may arise.
Sessions focus on helping patients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to better understand and manage their mental health conditions.
Psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis involve assessing patient’s symptoms, medical history, and other factors in order to determine an accurate diagnosis and develop an appropriate treatment plan. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am trained to perform these evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions.

How can I prepare for my initial appointment?
Please make sure all required intake forms are completed at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow time for your information to be reviewed carefully prior to your visit. If all intake forms are not completed prior to your initial appointment, the appointment must be rescheduled. All fees such as appointment costs, copays, etc. are due at the time of service.
What if I can not make it to my scheduled appointment?
If you can not make it to your appointment for any reason please cancel at least 48 hours prior by calling our office at (725) 204-7036 or email Persia@persiathepsychnp.com If you are not able to cancel your appointment within 48 hours you will incur a $125 late cancellation fee or $165 no show fee which must be paid prior to scheduling another appointment. Client will be discharged from the practice after second no show or late cancellation.
